Quality and comfortable but it just doesn't quite have enough adjustablity fory hight. I'm 5'10" but I have a kinda short torso and long legs so my belt sets higher up than on most people so I need just a couple more inches of adjusting to wear my belt sets 100% in the ideal spot. I just wear it a little lower than I like and the suspenders are very comfortable and I'm never sore at the end of the day at my hips but it's a trade off I'm willing to make

For Greenlys, that are purchasing their tool set and suspensions for their 1st time. It is leather. It is a B**** to adjust it once u get it out of the box.It will be a pain in the butt for a while.Durability wise, good, comfortablility.... GREAT!!! worth your money!

I’m an HVAC installer and sometimes my bags get heavy. With these suspenders, I can wear my tool belt all day.Yes, it’s expensive but you will not regret it! Your back will thank you after a long day at work.P.S. Your bags will fall when taking it off and on. I just added zip ties to secure it. Not pretty but gets the job done. It can also be a hammer holder lol

Right out the box my leather is basically completely worn off on the straps and loons TERRIBLE. I would never recommend buying from this seller. On the manufacturing side they produced a suspenders than can't fit anyone unless your 6ft plus and weigh over 160 pounds. This is the worst possible version of "FITS MOST" I've ever seen. I'm 5'9 about 140 and these are still 3 inches to long with the last hole being like 4 adjustments from where it was set at the factory. Why on God's green earth would you have holes that only go up a quarter of the strap. They could have EASILY put more holes for more adjustability but they don't because they would require fractions of a second longer on the manufacture side. Trash company and trash product if I could give it 0 stars I would

Man i seen a lot of good reviews on this product. After about 3 weeks if use i hate it. The piece that’s supposed to make them comfortable slides down every time you reach above your head or bend over to pick something up. And in the middle if that back support its starting to fold weird and its poking me in the back causing major discomfort. I did not receive any rivots for the back piece. Totally unsatisfied. And it’s probably too late to return since i wore so much. My buddy just got a 40$ pair of suspenders and they seem cheaper quality but so more more comfortable. I was hoping this is one of those “you get what you pay for” and id be getting a high quality comfortable product. This is not the case.

Currently about a year on these suspenders, had two issues.1) After everything broke in the loops would slide off the belt when trying to put the bags on, nothing a little tape didn't fix.2) One of the metal clips that attach the suspenders to the D-ring on belt loop got snagged on a metal plank I was carrying and it broke the clip, nothing a little more tape and string line didn't fix.Other than that these suspenders are incredible, the most comfortable set of suspenders I've worn.

I had an issue with height adjustment—as soon as I put them on, they’re not fitted right and of course makes sense, but with finally being able to bring it to the shortest setting it still doesn’t hold my body correctly and fits loosely. It doesn’t take any weight off my belt and also does not share the weight with my shoulders because of the loose fitting. I am 5’10” and 180 pounds.

Comfortable but loops will come off belt unless screwed on( did come with two Chicago screws) but the back loops always move into positing for the claw on my hammer to damage it

I just started my first union job. I have the occidental bags, all leather. The leather belt was killing me my first day, my waist was totally bruised because they weren’t broken in. The straps help immensely and I no longer am in pain.Something about owning the Occidentals makes me feel more confident about being a carpenter, I look like a carpenter and feel like a carpenter. I’m doing shoring right now, it’s physically demanding so a good set of bags is a must. The build quality is impeccable, these I’m sure will last years, and I’ve heard their customer service is incredible, they’ll fix em for you. I can’t wait until they’re broken in, these bags are a game changer.

I will never go back to traditional nail bags with belt. Much more comfortable. Very well made. It takes a little bit to break in and get the straps set to the mist comfort level but well worth it.

The company, and a good one, should urgently consider making variable sizes.There is a considerable amount of customizing the fit, that of which I’m ok with, however after reviewing the fit recommendations from Occidental on you tube, my pencils stick out like tail lights over my shoulders…clearly one size fits all is “stretch”. I’m 5’10”, 180lbs.The system does distribute the weight very well, and does earn high marks for quality.

First, this baby is super high quality! Only complaint is I am 5' 10" and I had to drill 4 more holes higher for length adjustment so I could make it shorter. Seriously unless you are like 6 feet tall or more or super super fat you are going to have to add holes so it will fit. I like my belt to sit right above my hips, not around my ankles haha. Once its sized right it will help save your back. Not uncomfortable working overhead either.

I’ve tried the husky ones from Home Depot and although they do the job they have to be constantly adjusted, even the leather straps from occidental the cheaper ones, I’ve tried those too and again needs adjustment as well as might present some discomfort in my experience. I don’t feel these things when I’m at work they are spectacular, they distribute the weight very well, I fully recommend them

So I bought this for my leather tool belt system. Craftsmanship is top notch. I wear a small sized occidental belt and I’m 5’9. I had to do significant modifications to these suspenders to fit me properly. That being said I cut leather off and drilled my own holes and it fits and feels great. If you don’t want to damage the product like I did don’t buy it.if you are under 5’9 and 140lbs + this defiantly will not fit you.

Normally these are the best you can get and I would say that for the pair I got except the stitching that holds the leather straps across the webbing was defective from manufacturing bad quality control check on this set I'm going to contact the company but didn't have time when I first got them so we'll see if they get back to me and make good on this or not but for the price it would be nice if they came perfect And ready to go with. Looking forward to seeing if they warranty this. I will be back to update this post.

Awesome fit comfortable once broke in works well if you are useing the leather loops to attach to belt i used a rivets purchased separately to keep things from moving around though. That was my only complaint and 3 dollar rivets fixed it.

When you raise your arms up to work above your head, the shoulder pads are very uncomfortable and cuts into your shoulder. The chess strap cuts into your chest and very uncomfortable. The pencil holder is so high up you can’t even use it. Very well-made but very uncomfortable.

So it's say one size fits most only if your 5'3 got em in the mail today along with my original tan seven bag framer really wanted the seven bag in black but that's a whole other story in itself back to the system I'm average height 6'0 225lbs put these on my new bags slung it over my shoulders and boom tool belt literally above my belly button with 2 belt holes of longer adjustment available so I say to my wife wouldn't it be nice if they just gave you 6 or 8 more inches of leather for adjustment she said yeah so I looked for maybe an xl suspension system oh I found one alright a whole nother kit consisting of 2 leather extensions at 120.00 bucks for the initial suspension system THE BEST THERE IS mind you I expected it to at least be fully adjustable to fit most men not just fit the short guys so now you want me to buy your 10 inch extensions because your system does not fit most .... No thank you returned with both a smile and a tear at 120 and occidental being the best you disappointed me for not including the extensions or just making them 10 inches longer to begin with what a hassle so stupid ........
