I finally decided to upgrade my 25 year old set of bondus Allen drivers to this new updated style. You can't beat this set, especially for the price. And if this set lasts anywhere near as long as my first, I'll be a happy camper. And I can't imagine any reason they won't!The handles are well made, feel good in your hand, and are big enough so you can get a nice firm grip and get a good amount of torque on your work piece.Buy them. You won't be dissapointed
So far this has been a nice set of hex drivers. The reason for not getting five stars is that I wish the handles did not get smaller for the smaller ones. My hand does not shrink when the screw gets smaller
I would have paid more for better machining. As is, it a good and works but I can tell fit isn’t as good as my good key wrenches. Plus they are starting to show wear.Ergonomics are great.
I am very happy with these. Definitely a good purchase. Feels good in the hand and you can grip them well so you can get some good torque out of them. Made in USA! I definitely recommend these.
The small sizes are for use on small power saws and are an improvement over the OEM items included with the equipment. The larger sizes are just more useful than the standard hex key set.
I've been using Bondhus drivers for years, so I knew what I was getting for the middle sizes (3-5mm). The 6-10mm are just way too big to keep in my everyday toolbag, so they'll stay in my van until needed.The tinier sizes (<3mm) I find just don't have enough handle for me to get a decent grip on. They also kind of get lost in the pockets of the toolbag.
This review is no testiment to the qualityor durability of these drivers. I do appreciate that they are made in the USA, but I bought these specifically for hobby work, which means I will use the 1.5,2.0, and 2.5mm sizes 90% of the time. Those 3 sizes are quite literally too sma for me to use effectively. They are really short and the "grip" handles are no bigger than a tube of chap stick. I was very excited to be able to work on rc cars without my hands cramping, but I guess I'll get back to looking for more
These things work great! Best buy I've made in a while. very durable, great hand grip, and the ball end makes it able to work from angles which is super handy.
Have used Bondhus tools at work for years and never had a problem. These wrenches have a very nice cushioned handle that give you a little more torque. We'll made as usual for Bondhus, expect years of trouble free service.
Price is right. Handles feel great and allow for torque. Tools are well balanced. Ball-hex fits snugly into hex bolts. It would be great if they came with a pouch or case but we can't always have everything, right?
