Was afraid these screws would be shorter than 2”. They were right in the money. Did not need to pre-drill pilot holes, the screws grabbed in wall with hand held screwdriver easily. You may need some pre-drill to counter sink the head of screw. Bright white, flat head excellent, paint did not mar nor flake. Yeah, they are expensive, but they are designed to show—I assume—so you pay for that

I’ve tried tapcon with limited success in my stone home. These hold so much better in the stone and concrete. If you need to attach something to brick, stone, block or concrete this is probably the easier way to get decent hold. Anchors with epoxy probably still work better but this is good enough to attach electrical boxes, hose bibs, etc, they are very hard to pull out and they won’t lose hold under normal circumstances, expensive but worth it.
