I used these for burring holes in tree stumps!Yes, they work great.Just make sure to reverse your drill to clean out the wood. I sometimes would do it a couple times.

Drill holes for electrical and water lines there better than DeWalt and other name brands
They cut fast and clean. Have a screw point to start and cut fast, just wish they came with a pouch to keep them organized.
2 of them broke within first week of using, i was just drilling though normal 2x4s

A fully charged 20v Max DeWalt impact drill couldn't even make these work good. Almost started a fire in my shop and had to go inside to let the smoke clear out. Worst bits I've ever bought. I thought Diablo was good but not in these.

I have had some spade bits in the past. These are amazing. when your spade bits start to get dull, they won't cut as well, and they will start to bend over time. These dont get dull in the first place. Great product for a great price.
This is a nice set for any beginner set. For the most part, this set will treat you well and drill through most softer objects. Avoid your harder materials or it will eat up your bits. Good Luck
I bought these because they tested well on a Utube channel. Problem is the speed tip design pulls the bit forward whether or not your drill can handle it so the larger bits constantly stopped my drill. I got around it by drilling pilot holes slightly larger then the tips, otherwise they cut through the wood well.

I finally replaced my 15year old Bosch spade bits and I didn’t realize what kind of hell I’d been putting myself through. What I always though was old (80+ year old) dense woods was no match for these bits. Highly recommended and great for Sheetrock too.

I’m an electrician and needed to drill holes for new house project. Depending on hole size for running wire, you’ll be better off buying the set than just a the common ones. My Boss is jealous and I caught him trying to take my drill bits. It’s a must have at the work site.
Just completed drilling 134 1 1/4" holes in fir 2"x12" that has been drying for 6 years. Holes are for boiler manifold lines, installing an in-floor heating system.Competitors auger bits would not drill through without a lot of effort to drill. Competitors bits became dull/ burnt after 2-3 holes.These bits are the best I have ever used by far.Excellent product.

I HATE Diablo saw blades. That said, these bits aren't bad. These fancy spade bits are harder to sharpen than old style but do cut better with the spurs on 'em. Tend to get stuck more than the old style spades.

What is there to dislike about an amazing product. Carry every Diablo product made is my recommendation.
This brand is the absolute worse for spade bits. It hits a random nail and gets twisted/stuck so bad, that it gets completely ruined. If I hit a nail, my old boschs' bits wouldn't get twisted like this...in fact, they would tear or push the nail aside, they're so tough.These are cheap.
