Probably the LAST US made tool…..when quality mattered….the absolute gold standard
Wendy Kennedy
These are very high end locking pliers, I doubt a non-professional could even afford them.

Sent back for a replacement set and never heard back

Incredibly well built, serious value, absolutely a life-time tool. Really sad Malco is ending it’s Eagle Grip line for locking handle tools.
Habiba Ayomide
These are the best you can buy.
Kubura Oluwakemi
Great product glad I got one before it sold out.
Katheryn Nyeko
These things are amazing. I own each variety. I’m very upset that they will be shutting production down at the end of the year. PLEASE KEEP MAKING THEM!

Worth the extra $ for the quality

Best vise-grips I've ever used.
Antonette Wyman
After a year of use they're going strong. While other brands show wear or even strip metal off the jaws when used on hard steel these still look new. Well worth the extra money over cheap substitutes. The product is an example that paid attention to the details, got it right, and executed with superb quality.I'd happily buy this product again but that's the beauty of it's quality, unless I lose it I wont have to ever replace it. This is a heirloom tool that I fully expect my children will still be using long after I'm gone.

If you want a really quality pair of locking pliers, these are it. They are durable, the adjustment is smooth, the jaws are well aligned without play, the polish is well done without holidays. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat

This item is more expensive than pliers with similar function, But it is with the money.
Nicole Johnson
Heavy duty well made.
Alan Keeling
These are amazing. Solid feel, perfect chrome. I can’t explain how beautiful these clamping pliers are. The teeth are very well machined as well and the locking mechanism is very satisfying to work- nice solid lock up.

Tools made the right way. Lifetime tool
Steve Holmes
These are very nice vise grips and well worth the money. The jaws are flush and level and the locking mechanism for clamping is powerful and smooth. Perfect for job applications such as field work, heavy duty equipment, and the peace of mind that you won't have to buy another for a long, long time so just keep throwing it in the tool bag and keep your worries elsewhere.

They ate a little pricey but worth every penny

Excellent fit and feel. Handles like a real tool should. Very expensive but this type of tool requires high quality manufacture to give years of use. Chinese junk is of no value here, no matter what the stamped on name says.Unfortunately, as indicated in the photo, lower jaw is about .020 undersized. That's a shame. This will probably be no real issue in most cases. But, When these have to lay perfectly flat to grip a small piece of broken bolt for removal, then it will be an issue.

Excelent tools the best on the market

Made in America vice grip pliers that have the quality, fit and finish that you can see and feel. This is a tool that any craftsman will appreciate.

Best vice grip I’ve used
Liam Jacobs
I'm not sure if I should give this three or four stars. But I gave it four because it does seem like an excelleht tool. It bites very sharp, and holds very hard, and did a significantly better job on holding a very rusted spinning sway bar link than my other vise grips do. So seems like a great tool. But what left me HIGHLY disappointed, was that after just about one use (maybe used it once or twice prior), there is SIGNIFICANT damage to the teeth of the pliers. Grooves worn into the teeith to the degree that I would almost say that a couple of the teeth got "smashed" in. I was very sad about this. Because I really really really wanted to love these pliers and think of them as a lifetime tool. But come on. Two or three uses??? And I just used them for what they are meant to be used, to grip stuff!! I'm really hoping this was just from a bad batch not fully hardened. Because this is really not cool. Pretty sad about this.

Didn't really think that there was a difference in vice grips, probably because I have only used cheap ones. I have been upgrading my toolbox and seek out tools made in the USA. Took a chance on these even though they are pretty expensive. All I can say is Wow! Heavy gauge steel, perfect chrome plating, smooth action. Hold a pair in your hands and you will be a convert. Never going back to cheap again!
Rotimi Maryjane
Well made, fit and finish is incredible. I wouldn’t use these for welding, get harbor freight for that,More expensive then others but worth it for a tool made in the U.S.A.
Adam King
Solid well made product with excellent plating. Made in USA!
Chloe Atuhire
These are worth every penny. Smooth polished edges, wire cutter, nicely done teeth, nice clamping mechanism, etc. Malco bought the plant from the old irwin factory that bought the design from peterson. These are made in the old machines as the employees even owned some of them and sold them back to malco. If you are a welder, mechanic, shop diy, etc buy them. You are supporting usa jobs, and employment in a small town of DeWitt Nebraska. It would be nice to see master sets and the Long C ones come out too.

Great quality, super nice finish, and easier/better to use. Much stronger steel with betterTeeth to bite into whatever is trying to gripped. Much, much better than any imported units from the home stores or auto parts/import tools stores which are all soft and don’t grip straight/well. Mirror like finish is also great look.

This Eagle Grip is the best ever. Love the ‘Made in Dewitt, Nebraska’
Christian Pfannerstill
Fantastic build quality. Jaw does not wiggle around like cheaper imported locking pliers. All around solid. Best of all made in the USA!
Karen Roux
Best locking pliers i own, and I have Peterson vise grips, knipex and older Mac for comparison also have Irwin vise grips, but they are not good at all.
Patrick Bennett
It was worth the wait. These pliers are solid. They hold the lock well and look good to boot. Well polished and made in the USA. Good tool, I will be buying some more in other sizes.
Chameli Chaudhari
WOW—that was my first thought when opening the box and picking them up for the first time. I’ve been watching and waiting for this company to finally open their product line up and was it worth the wait! These are definitely the highest quality of locking pliers I’ve ever picked up. They are extremely durable, one can tell no corners were cut when making them. On top of that they are extremely good looking and feel great in the hand. Their grip strength is incredibly strong, plus the teeth bite since they aren’t made with butter steel. 110% worth the money I will be buying their whole product line.
