The saddle brown, SCFP720CTSEGBR, 2-1/4 in. x .120, BeckDeck thread Scrail is designed for use with Fasco and most other 20-22 degree plastic strip framing nailers. Scrails combine the versatility of a conventional nail with the holding power of a screw. These particular fasteners meet the requirements of ASTM F1667 and are ICC-ES approved, according to the ESR-1539 evaluation report.
Designed with a double thread, the scrails prevent the protrusions that can occur in composite materials when inserting fasteners.
