Used for installing kitchen cabinets. These are the greatest screws ever. No predrilling, no split wood and TIGHT hold! Even comes with a nice bit! I never thought screws would be a “get what you pay for” kind of thing, but man, these were worth every dollar I paid for them!

Allows about 10degrees of flop around, very difficult to drive in straight, drop a lot of screws as it tilts and the bit comes out of the head. About impossible with another maker's T25 (dewalt) bit, their bit is better but still flops around a lot. I bought another brand.
Bought these screws to allow for easy fastening of thick cut dimensional lumber. The screw itself is of fantastic construction, sturdy built with some neat features that definitely help its use. The hex / star head is a great feature that allows for easy instillation without any stripping of the bit or the head. Each pack comes with one hex bit that is the exact size you need and will fit into pretty much any drill or driver that is on the market. The container that the screws come in now are not as nice as their older containers (softer, less durable plastic) but still do the job of holding all the parts in the right place.
It was a good day when I discovered the GRK line of screws mostly because they rarely need a pilot hole. This saves lots of time. The multipurpose heads work their way into the wood to be flush with the top surface. The other type, cabinet screws, have a larger washer-like head that stays visible but holds better in certain situations.
The Phillips head, while infinitely better than slot, was designed to cam out to prevent over tightening when workers were using pneumatic screwdrivers on production lines.These Torx head screws, combined with modern impact drivers, are simply amazing. They never cam out. It's like the fastener is an extension of the driver bit. These new impact drivers like the marvelous Makita LCT300W 18-Volt Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless 3-Piece Combo Kit , featuring the Makita LXDT04CW 18-Volt Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Driver Kit  never break the head off the fastener.The combination is remarkably effective and a joy to use.
These screws kick a$$!! I am building cornhole boards & decided to use these to conserve time and preserve the wood. So glad I spent a few extra dollars for quality. You don't need to countersink or pre drill the hole. No chipping, no splitting. They leave a nice clean little hole that you can putty right over. These are by far the best screws I have ever used!!!
We do a lot of DYI around our home, including fence and gates. I found this GRK Fasteners from home depot and I wish we have found this earlier. It cuts assembling time in half and I am very satisfy with the product and quality. Home Depot has a better price.
60mm is not 2-1/2 inches!! Had I known this, I might have ordered the next longer length. That said, this is a great improvement on the standard flat head wood screw. No predrilling was needed in my redwood project and the star drive allowed application of more than enough torque to sink the heads as deeply into the wood as desired. I drove over a hundred of these screws on one charge of my battery-powered drill and the drill was ready for more.But please, be accurate as to dimensions. Five-star quality product, knocked down one for misleading advertising.
I have used different typs of GRK fasteners I really like them, and they always perform better than expected. I recommend them highly. Here is the "but."This particular screw is shorter than the stated 2-1/2 inches. It is a good bit less than 2-3/8 inches. GRK provides both inch and metric dimensions for their screws. It seems that the metric dimension they give is accurate and the inch dimension is the "closest" American screw dimension. In some cases they are almost the same (the 1-1/2 screws that I also have are right-on), but the 2-1/2 screw is over 1/8 inch shorter than the stated American screw length.Maybe go with the 2-3/4 screw if 60mm is going to be too short for you.
