Used to put together a fence. The build it washers made a big difference but I have broken the head off of a few screws. Pretty surprising
drurypuckett
the fastners were open dump back in the tub you pay a lot of money knowing that everything is not there

GRK screws are the best. I like them better than SPAX even and perhaps better than Simpson. They are decent value and super high quality.

Very nice screws.

I have started using these for everything they are very good!
Kirsten
Great screws, just the bit given with it doesn’t fit the screws. Luckily I have my own bits

I wish I could buy bigger bulk

These screws will go thru 2x lumber like butter !!! I've gone thruogh about half of the pail ,about 100 with nobreakage. Oh, and you might have to set your drill to a lower settings !! or these screws will disappear on you!!!!

It is a pricy item
MJB Ontario
These are good for heavy duty construction projects, like building large storage shelving etc.

I use this product a lot when working with outdoor building construction using treated wood and other 2" material.

Hands down the best screw I’ve ever had...
Joy
Comes with two bits that fits the screw head. They went into the wood easy. My shed is sturdy so no complaints other than being a little pricy
Gotsnowyet
I will never use any other screws again.
David
These structural screws from Amazon are a terrific valve compared to the big box stores and of equal or better quality. If you have used lag screws in the past you will love switching to structural screws for both their simplicity and strength.

These #10 X 3-1/8" screws work really well - they don't easily split wood when you are close to the edge and have massive clamping force. The Torx drive doesn't slip and allows the large flat head to be buried into wood, even when the wood is old and dry. If you are working overhead the screws will not stay on your driver as well as Robertson design (square head for US readers) but this is a minor complaint.
Jordan Holloway
Exactly as advertised. These screws work amazing
MARLO A. REYNA
Grk screws are without question the best out there!
Rachel
Best all around screw! Great value over the hardware store in town.
Eric
If you’ve never used these then you’re in for a eye opener. I used these to build my deck and the fact that you don’t need to pilot drill saves lots of time! I used these and everything in between up to their 6” ones. I really like them! Just wish they weren’t so expensive. The price is no better then my local hardware store.
Ecospider5
Great screw in the 236 pack. $0.22 per screw. You can use them multiple times. In the 50 pack at $0.36 per screw they are getting a little expensive. But not needing to pre drill really makes these worth it.
Lars QR
I love Torx screws as much as I hate Robertson (square) screws.Best screw ever, for the right purpose.
RYAN WOLFE
These things are great. Strong and easy to use.
Paul Howard
Amazing design.Brings structures together and holds them together.Great company.
Cathy DeMott
I have not been using this particular screw that long, but others of this type are my go-to for joining dimensional lumber. This is just the right length for joining two pieces of pressure-treated 2x wood (1 5/8" thick each). If you are doing normal 2x lumber, go with a 2 3/4" length.

Great structural screws- pull tight and maybe only stripped out 1 out of several boxes framing my deck

GRK screws are excellent
Andrew
Excellent product and quantity at an excellent price!
Bob S.
These worked very well for me and about half the cost of the big box store
Ask Gary
I was deceived. I was told these were structural screws to replace 1/2" lag screws. No chance when I can bend and break one with my bare hands. These should be labeled as cabinet screws.
Dr. Jeff
Grk screws are the best, pulling pieces tight together.

Amazing. Ditch your gold screws from home depot for these. Great for construction where the large head does not get in the way. Some reviewer said these stripped the drivers but I have just completed a shed and had no such problems. Rather than drill into the wood to sinch up a loose connection these screws have a built in washer that tends to stay on the surface of the outer board or plywood and draw the piece into the wood below. This works so well that sometimes I use this first and replace it with a simple grk screw. If you can afford a few more dollars for your project you'll enjoy using these and other GRK products. The larger versions of this screw replace lag bolts and possibly carrage bolts.

Work great to fasten the triple 2x12 beams for new deck. Love them, easy to use and drive into the wood.
GoodTimes
Expensive but quality is high.
Tiffany
These screws are amazing. They are probably the easiest screw to drive. I used these screws instead of 3/8" lag screws for a roof remodel and they made the job very easy. Definitely worth every penny.
Eric
These work great for structural framing. Way stronger than nails and the keeps the boards from separating.
Brian Beyersdorf
I wouldn't buy any other screw!
Timo
If you desire to use the cheapest thing possible, please move along. If you want a structural rated fastener that will not let you down, place your order here. I used these to "sister" some fresh floor joists to 100 year old rough cut timbers that had suffered a bit of termite damage. We used to call the operation "scabbing" but that didn't pay near as well as "sistering". Used a whole box. Not one stripped. Not one broke. Not one failed to fully seat. Two thumbs up.

You know, every once in a while you run into a product that so out performs everything you've used in its place up 'til then that you are stunned in awe.I bought these in August and it is now late December. Sorry I didn't write a review earlier. These structural screws work better and hold better than anything I've ever used including lag bolts and lag screws. First, they drill their own path whereas a lag bolt or screw requires pre-drilling. Beyond that, these hold better. After driving a lag until the crushing limit of the material there could be movement forced into the joint. No movement with the GRK RSS. From now on, these will be my first consideration on anything structural I construct.BTW: Also bought the GRK RSS516518HP RSS HandyPak 5/16 by 5-1/8-Inch Structural Screws, 50 Screws per Package  and highly recommend them too!
