I'm using this particular fastener to attach two-by-six ceiling joists to roof rafters in an attached garage I'm reframing, and decided these were the perfect length so as not to protrude, while providing exceptional holding power.

So much easier than predrilling holes and using traditional lag screws. The real benefit wasn't found until after we had sandwiched the lvl beams and found we needed to relocate a few of the screws around some hanging brackets. Reversed them out, relocated them around the bracket and all was good. Great product. Saves so much time it was more than worth it.
