I like the fact that it can be powered by both an outlet and battery. It comes with a clear cover that can be flipped upside down and used as a tray to whatever it is you're weighing. It's very easy to use, tells you which measurement you are using.

I bought this because we had one at work and I liked it. The one I got doesn't auto-tare if you turn it on with the bowl already on it, whereas the older one does. Other than that it's totally satisfactory.

We have about 5 or 6 of these scales for our packaging business. We need to count small fasteners (screws, nuts, washers, inserts, etc) and these scales are very accurate. All of the people who use these like them. If the parts are really small, we will use a larger samples (20 or 50) but 10 usually does the trick. The batteries last a good long time, but one could also use the AC adapter. The batteries make it very portable.

Doesn't sit flat so when I push the ZERO button... it comes back with a small value - am sure this is just a quirk of mine but... And not a big deal, if pushing slow and easy makes that avoidable but still annoying.

Only weigh up to 500g depending on what your weighing. If heat touches the top (coffee) (hot water) it will read error. I do pour-overs and log each recipe I do. I really wanted this to work because it does .1 and not .5 like previous one I own. Hope others see this in the coffee industry and avoid it.

This scale broke within 2 days of using it. When an item is placed on it the numbers sky rocket and then plunge and will not give a weight reading. Super disappointed!

Pretty sturdy and easy to operate. I needed a scale that would weigh down to 0.1 grams. This one claims to do it but that is a very small amount and this one seems to start weighing at 0.2 grams. Still - it does a good job for what I needed; baking measurements.

I just received this scale and I'm still not sure about it I love the fact that it has a big surface to weigh on but it also comes with a cover/ bowl that fits on top to make it bigger. The only thing I didn't like about this when I opened it it kept displaying error message the Manual is not very detailed with trouble codes so I had to google it found it just needed to be recalibrated. It should be calibrated right out of the box in my opinion good thing I also bought calibration weights you also need a 600g calibration weight to do it keep that in mind when you purchess I couldn't find a 600 so I got a 500 and a 100 that does the trick

I am a teacher & bought a few of these for my high school science classroom. Most survived the first year. I have found them much, much, much cheaper than Ohaus brands but not too forgiving if the max weight is exceeded. If you are teaching high school chemistry & these will get heavy use (and/or abuse), i recommend investing in Ohaus brand for longevity. This scale would be perfect for needs of a homeschooling family or co-op & is both precise and accurate.

I ordered a check weight to see if calibrating it will help. Without a bowl or any other interference the scale cannot even repeat measures on the same object with 0.3g.

At first I was impressed with this scale. It seemed perfect for kitchen and general household use. I had tried cheaper scales and been underwhelmed. When I received the CJ600 it worked great and was very accurate. However, after several months use, it has developed a problem where it will not stay on zero. With no weight on the scale, the displayed value constantly fluctuates by up to a gram in either direction. I have been careful not to place anything heavier than 600 grams on the scale, and it has not been dropped or mistreated so this can't be attributed to misuse. There are no vibrations or air currents in the room. I have tried the scale in multiple locations and experienced the same problem. I attempted to contact the company through their website and received no response. I plan to spend a little more money and go with a more reputable manufacturer.

This is a great scale for my ES classroom, in that it was cheap and it does work. I also needed a scale that measured to 0.1 accuracy, but was able to weigh more than 200g. Anyway, all that said, it is not very accurate. Any movement near the scale will trigger changes in the mass. That's fine for us, but would not be great for something that needed more accuracy.

A world better than the usual imported junk that fills the low-end range.The scale settles quickly and does not appear to drift significantly. The tare feature is very functional and the auto-timeout is long enough to be able to make it useful in the kitchen and coffee preparation tasks I generally ask of it. Repeatability and spot-check of calibration continue to be within one division, and it is responsive to repeated addition or removal of less than 0.1g (many inexpensive scales can't deal with slow, incremental changes).The scale is larger than I imagined from the photo and I find it to be a great size to work with. The scale is about 6"x8" with about a 5" diameter platform.The clear cover helps protect the scale and keypad when inverted and used as a measuring bowl, without unduly impacting readability or access to the controls.Very satisfied with the scale's performance, as well as Old Will Knott Scales as the vendor.
