Price was a bit higher than I was hoping for, but the cheapies sold today are of much lower quality than the cheapies from a decade or more ago. This is very well made, great bristles. I didn't notice that these were the shorter bristles but it still works great for me. Wood seems like a good piece so hopefully it won't twist in time - threads are nicely cut. This is pretty soft for most concrete finishing but it's also soft enough to make an excellent snow-clearing brush for cars, and the lower handle angle of these compared to floor push brooms is helpful there. I wouldn't put most of these on my car, but this one I would (and did recently...as new).
