I couldn’t use it because the bristles made such a mess on the walls....they shed HORRIBLY. If it hasn’t been for that, it would’ve been a great product.
The brush did the job well to match the textured ceiling we had to patch. It actually turned out way better than we expected. The only issue was the brush hairs were left behind on the ceiling. I think you may have this with any brush. We were able to get them off before it dried.
Maybe it's because I'm a beginner but when I first practiced using it on an remnant piece of drywall, I was shocked by how many bristles/horse-hairs transferred from the brush into the wet drywall compound. I quickly realized you first need to aggressively use the brush on a practice board with drywall compound to work out all the loose bristles/hairs before you can actually use the brush. Even after, it left a few hairs in the drywall compound on my ceiling which I will just paint over. Is this normal?
I purchased this to stomp mud onto ceiling, I only acquired a single use out of it. Its not bad brush for the price but if you plan to stomp drywall mud expect to spend time picking bristles out of the mud.
I bought this brush and was so frustrated, the hair shed all over the wall . I dont know if my brush was defective. I want my money back and dont want to pay for shipping and handling.
Maybe (I hope!), I got a defective brush....but it showed up with loose bristles, and WOULD NOT stop shedding no matter how much I tried to clean it, and I don’t mean a random hair or 2. There were literally 3+ hairs per square foot. Pretty much every time you stomped, it left hairs behind. Unusable. Just crazy. I threw this piece of garbage away after an hour of fighting it and went to the local hardware to spend more money...
