There is nothing I'd rather use to make folds in sheet metal than this bar fold (except maybe a hand brake). Don't leave home without it!

I made several pieces of duct work recently where I needed to create snap-lock edges. This tool was great in working with the duct. Warning though, it gets pretty hard to use with anything thicker than 27ga.

Worked as promised. I was bending aluminum trim. For wider bending I used an aluminum angle iron 10’ long and started the bend with this tool then bent the wider parts by hand and with a mallet.

Much better quality than the Wiss 24" version which was not flat from end to end. Maybe just a fluke? The Malco version is dead flat end to end.

Malco is basically the standard in folding bars. No reason to pay more. The 24" allows you to make any plenum needed on the job.

Very simple and effective. I make a lot of bird houses and beehives. This tool has worked perfectly for bending small pieces of aluminum sheet.

Maybe I didn't read the description well enough, but i expected something a little different. It is two bars welded together with gaps on each side. The gap on on side is maybe a 1/2" and the other is maybe an inch. You would slide the sheet metal into the gap and then bend it. I thought I'd be able to make bends further in than 1".

Malco 24F 24 in. Folding Tool

Had to do some ducting modification for a new HVAC system. I'd never done it before, but this tool made my life much, much, easier. Very simple, but sturdy and well-made.You can't really see in the picture, but it's got a thin split along both edges that allow sheet metal to be pushed inside the tool and bent against a (sturdy) flat surface to create a straight clean bend of any degree.
