I’ve been building fence for 6 years and Malco makes the best fence pliers in my opinion and it’s not even close. They are beyond durable and strong and sturdy. I’ll never use another brand of pliers

I used this tool for a job building fences carry it with me all day atvthis job gets the job done.

They are decent, bought these for my fence installers. The cutters are strong and stay sharp. I deducted one star because some of my installers say they have to be opened too wide for the cutter to be used. They do have to be opened wider than the other brands we use, so the folks with bigger hands are okay with them. Some of other installers with normal size hands don't like them at all.

I use these pliers everyday at a very busy fence company. They work great every time! The cutters are sharp but probably won’t hold up cutting constantly. I bought the 8” pliers as well. I highly recommend these pliers.

Not has good as the cheaper brands. These come stiff and uncomfortable to use. The cheap ones I got were great. Malcos just seemed like the machining for the pins were off that made them stiff as hell.
Madhavi Chakrabarti
I use these daily at work and they work great, best pliers you can buy
Laurianne McLaughlin
Definitely worth it!
Lambert Klein

Les pinces sont dures à ouvrir. Même après avoir mis de l'huile. Et il y a plein de saleté dans les couteau. Très déçu.

I bought 3 sets of 10in Malco pliers months ago and the quality is horrible. They are still so tight and will not loosen up that they create problems when trying to use them. These were given to different employees for use and neither has had any luck on making them easier to use. Will not buy again. I will now have to purchase more pliers and will try a different brand and hope the quality is better. I bought a 8 in pair of Malco pliers at a separate time and they work great.

They work very well

uneven grinding done on the pliers, seems like the price has gone up as the quality has gone down, used to be a real big fan of Malcom but these pliers don’t seem the same from what I’ve had in the past.

Decent enough fencing pliers. It takes a while to loosen them up though, even after a few months of use. The nose is to short and not great for tying fence. But they have a good grip and are great at cutting 9 guage wire
Sweta Sarin
I install fence for a living And I find these pliers good for my needs I especially like the narrow round tip. It make tying fence lines easier because the tip doesn’t get in the way.
Aurelia Tizikara
Ok price. Item works as advertised.

a good slim headed plier for fencing projects heavier and large for leverage
Isaac Rosenbaum
Nice pliers, great at cutting heavier wire. I wish the in the jaw wire cutter was similar to lineman cutters.
Arnold Kulas
These pliers are tough and definitely have that feel in your hands. Joint is tight and chops right through 9 gauge wire.
Zachary Hermiston
These are great pliers, they are now my favorite
Emmanuel Nxumalo
Dennis, this style of lineman's pliers are specifically for building chainlink fence. The thickest wire your going to cut with then is going to be 9ga. Unless you put the wire in the cutters, place them on the ground and stomp the handles together. That dulls the sour out of then real quick. You need built cutters for the application you had explained. I have been using these and simular pliers for the past ten years and they work great.

I am an ironworker and need a reliable pair of pliers these are not worth the steel there made out of
Alvah Bechtelar
Not so good! I own a farm and bought these pliers to cut hi-tensil hotwire fence. They really let me down. The action is not smooth, and if this makes sense...the cutters are lined up so the pliers have to be nearly all the way open to put the wire in, then it's open so wide it's awkward to squeeze with one hand. And they don't cut very easy. It takes a lot of force to cut the wire. I have since bought some 9" kleins. Night and day difference!!buy the Kleins.

These pliers have a nice textured grip, sharp cutters, and have a good hold in the jaw. The nose is too square, which makes it hard to tie, but I"m coming from a pair of pliers that were over 10 years old, so they were worn down nicely. I just wish the top cutter was angled for cutting ties off for tearouts.I bought the Maasdam pair last year, and those are junk. Really square nose, bad grip, and are super loose from hammering in tension bars already. These malco's aren't as nice as my old pair, but I think with a little grinding they'll be acceptable.
Sibusiso Lewis
Ive had these so far about Seven months and they've been Great I really like the center cutters although they could go for some heavier gauge cutters 9 gauge is a tight fit.
Lempi O'Keefe
Tougher than nails...solid, dependable product worth it's weight in cold, hard steel...wish they came in day-glo colors baked on finish so they're harder to lose out on the range/in the field!-)
