I really like this tool that Ryan Mullen highlighted on his Tic Toc. He is likely credited for selling many. I know I have bought a few things he reviews. I just wish they would make more sizes like a 7mm /6mm .

These drivers are excellent. Not only is it convenient to have two size in one tool, you can easily clean out the metal that collects on the magnet and makes engagement an issue with a regular magnetic driver that doesn’t have the removable socket.

Malco MSHMLCM2 8 mm & 10 mm 4 in. Cleanable Hex Nut Driver

I do service on AC, so this metric and also the SAE ones are good to have. The difference between this type and the regular magnetized socket is that you can remove the socket to get the screw out.I bought both the Malco & Klein Tool and keep both. Klein Tools version is cheaper. So shop around first.

I work on alot of Bmws, and European vehicles, this comes really handy so I don't drop screws and lose them in the engine bay.Only issue I have is I wish the socket depth was deeper..Removing some plastic nuts on bmws I would need to switch out a deeper 10mm socket. Since this drive has a magnet the end, doesn't make it deep enough for thicker 8mm or 10mm sized bolt heads.Good product so far! Still use it till this day

So upon receiving this item initial thoughts were good. Reversible socket end heafty looking driver. Well that went out the window.I didn't even get 20 minutes out of this driver socket. It just plain cracked. Now with that said one would think that this black driver bit would be impact rated..... Well one would be wrong.I thought it was an impact driver when I originally added to cart. After checking out. I went back in and read the description come to see it doesn't say it is or isn't impact rated. Clearly it isnt. For the money I would just stick to the cheaper local tool outlet of the harborBrand. Yes the local guy doesn't have that coolDriver bit however a normal driver bit from them is cheaper and will last a whole lot longer than 20min.

Malco MSHMLCM2 8 mm & 10 mm 4 in. Cleanable Hex Nut Driver

BMW lower shields have 8 mm and 10 mm. Even if there is a 10 mm that sits too deep you can pull out the socket a little bit and it still works! Super strong magnet and when metal gathers on it it’s easy to clean. The 8 mm screws are held very well by the magnet and makes it a lot easier to put back the shields. The color coding is nice as well! This product is a must have!
