Quality. Well built, no slop, and aligned. You can buy a cheaper but not better. I initially baulked at the price but they were worth it.

Malco S2R Hand Seamer

Very strong and great quality. They came out of the package perfectly setup with great clamping power. Duck bills don’t slip and seem to stay aligned the last couple months I’ve had them and used daily. The notches on the sides are even 1/4” measurements for easy alignment. The locking mechanism is easy to use and easy to reach.This is my second set of these and will continue us to come to Malco for these every time.

I tried bending nice looking sheet metal with my teeth, my hands even my butt cheeks but it never turned out right. Once I got these my jobs looked so much better. Sturdy construction and grips metal well for turning drive ears and flanges on duct work.

They are too deep when bending "S" cleat's. Also they are not open enough in the back of the throat in the closed position. They really do not add much additional leverage as they boost about. In my opinion the person who designed this tool was probably not a Sheet Metal Mechanic. POOR DESIGN.

Contractor grade .My favorite go toseamers for metal. I work 26-24 gauge and the bite to it like a shark. They don't slide when you bend a end dam like most of the lower grade one. i also notice they tend to be more spare by the rust than regular ones.Worth the extra 20 bucks!Louis GirouxAwesome Exteriors inc.

An excellent tool, well made, sturdy, well thought out, feels good in the hand. Best of all it's made in USA, not like most other tools these days. Made in USA stamped on the handle. Product packaging terrible, box was not secured closed, fortunately the tool was OK.

Malco S2R Hand Seamer

I did HVAC work making residential duct work and installing systems for about 4-5 years. We always used a Malco set of seamers with black handles. Our angled jaw pair broke after about 10 years of heavy use. The contoured handles on these feel a lot better than the straight black handles on the pair of Malcos I'm used to using. The "thumb lock" is also an improvement to the old side latch locks that are normally seen on sheet metal tools.
