Nice unit, worked for a day. Second day something in the gear box let go and it stopped moving the knives Unfortunately we needed it and had to buy a replacement locally.
If you are a metal worker, you need these shears in your life! Work smarter not harder with these shears. Durable & good quality. Highly recommend them
It’s a little tricky to use, but once you get the angle it cuts well and appears to be good quality.
When I first used it, I could not cut at all. Then my roofer showed me a couple of tricks of his trade… when you install it on your drill turn head of the shears upside down and at a slight angle- then thighten the screw down. then turn the drill upside down so you have better control and not fighting the weight of your drill. It worked like a dream.
These are great. They're easy to cut straight line with, I can even trim off the edge of the under lap side of the metal so accurately that it looks just like the factory top lap edge. It's still a little awkward cutting the ridges but no still a lot better than snips or the electric nibbler type cutters. If you do roofing, or maybe duct work, you need these.
Didn't need it and was returned with no problem. Seen someone else use one and it work great.

Practice !!!!! Practice. !!!! Practice!!!!!If you do not practice you will screw up and blame the tool. It takes getting used to, read the instructions, you have to cut at a 75° angle start and very slow holding the end piece in the direction that you want to cut, it cuts very quick and very smooth on straight pieces and takes time over the ridges piece. I have several pieces left over from our re-roofing from shingles to 26 gauge metal roof.Start cutting slowly and speed up when you get the hang of it.I originally tried hand shears and that last for 3” and stopped. Buy the correct one for the type of metal you are cutting.IMPORTANT! Where eye protection, high quality hearing protection , and heavy duty leather gloves, and a mask. The cut metal is like a scalpel !!! Use a rasp to blunt the edge down to dull.
It doesn't fit all types of drills. Out of 3 drills it fits one nicely. It has a hard time to cut 20 gauge corigated metal roof.
I had the Dewalt metal shear attachment. It worked OK, but did not hold tightly to my Dewalt drills nor Dewalt impacts. This Malco holds well. The Malco should clamp to most any drill or impact securely.I did have to slightly modify a fitting. Otherwise the cutter would spin in circles. The clamp for the cutter assembly wasn’t tight. So I moved one of the spacer washers from the back clamp to the front clamp. Problem fixed. My impact is too small for the end loop of the clamp, but the clamp closes down securely enough that there is no movement.
This tool cuts flat sheet metal like a hot knife through butter. But contrary to the YouTube videos showing it cut corrugated roofing metal with some ease I could not get it to do so. Very very frustrating as I really needed it to do so.

Works great on my Makita impact drill. Cuts corrugated metal like butter. Easy to maneuver and handle. Cuts are clean. I would highly recommend.
Had to learn how to cut ridges on n angle but with some practice it became easy to do

I am having trouble keeping the jaws tight. Didn't want to stay on my Dewalt drill but fits better on my impact. I'm thinking of returning it. Not worth the money.
I purchased the Malco Metal Turbo Shear because I have had problems for years with my wrist. I have tried using a hand shear in the past but it hurt for days.I had carpel surgery many, many years ago. I also have gout and arthritis in my wrist.I saw the guy on YouTube "Little Mountain Life" using the Malco Metal Turbo Shear to cut galvanized metal for a garden bed.I purchased the Malco TSCM Corrugated Metal Turbo Shear from Amazon and used it today for the first time. It worked great. It was effortless to use and feel my money was well spent.Cutting the galvanized was so easy that I can hardly wait to cut the remaining 11 garden beds.

The shears were delivered the after, as stated delivery date. I have used the shears a couple of times to cut 31 gauge galvanized corrugated metal roofing. This tool takes the stress out of cutting and also gives a very nice cut edge. I would definitely recommend this item.
Attached to my drill easily, keeps my hands away from sharp metal, cuts clean lines, able to steer to make irregular cuts.

Used for a very small yard shed with ribbed metal roof. Was much cheaper than a dedicated nibbler tool. Attached easily to my cordless drill motor and cut cleanly.
It takes getting used to, but once you get the feel of it, it works great. Someone else cried that it wants to rotate, geeze, just tighten the knob and lock the head. I think some people are their own worst enemies. So far it's the best cutter I've found for cutting 4 rib metal roofing.
Worked pretty good and seems to be built tough. Only used it on one project so far though.
Hubby loved it. He used it on corrigated steel siding and trim when putting up his 30 X 20 machine shed.
It cut my metal v5 roofing but it will not cut it if its installed werr the over laps are so be surr to cut it right before installing,id use a electric drill my dewalt got very hot...

Sharp tool. Cuts 26 ga. Roofing panels pretty good but the part of the chuck that goes into the impact drill breaks off pretty easy. I've broken at least half a dozen.
