No instructions. Poorly packed, small parts loose in box. Not really sure if I have everything or not. Pretty pathetic for a US company. I'd expect this from Temu or Amazon. Pictures are misleading...isn't that a Dewalt IMPACT? Instructions online say it's for a DRILL?
I'm an HVAC Technician and cut sheet metal all the time. Even with thin 30 guage metal, this cutter can't get past any edge ridges
Nice even straight cuts on 26 ga roofing panels. No good for cutting across panels over ribs. No burrs left on either side of cut. Easy to control on hammer drill

This is my second one. The first is the shear style. I like the double cut style a little bit more. I find it easier to cut and to make turns in the double cut. I also have a dewalt but its electric. I find it alot easier to use these that I connect to my m18 impact for quick smaller jobs like a humidifier install. It is heavy duty in a lighter weight pack. Overall very happy with it
I don’t write many reviews, but I am so happy with these snips that it’s worth mentioning.I used these snips to but standing seam metal roofing panels. There are easy to attach to a cordless drill, are easy to handle and they cut smooth and straight. It’s also great to be able to use a corded drill that I already own rather than buying a separate tool with just one purpose. I am extremely happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.
I always have trouble cutting anything straight with snips or scissors. With this, it's too easy. Straight clean cuts every time I have tried it. It was interesting to discover that if I flip the sheets over with the embossed diamonds towards the bottom, it cut a lot easier .. but either way I didn't screw up a single cut so far after a weekend project of a bunch of plate cutting (probably 20 to 30 or so straight cuts ranging from 2 to 4 feet).

I had the TSHD (single cut) version, and loved it. Decided to "upgrade" to this TSMD double cut version. I was really expecting to like this one too... but no.The TSMD works great in flat metal, as long as you're not trying to turn right angles. But it will NOT go through spiral round seams no matter how much you wiggle/jam/force/curse at it.Unlike the old one, this double-cut TSMD does not have any jaw adjustment, which is a major problem.So this TSMD got thrown in the bottom drawer of the toolbox, and I went back to the trusty TSHD single-cut. The old one will turn right angles, can chop through spiral-round seams without too much drama, and just in general works like a good tool should. And you can easily adjust the jaws with the supplied Allen key.You dropped the ball on this one, Malco. Disappointed.
Very disappointed, malco is name brand. I Bought these a on February 25th and received them on the 27th, I was a little disappointed because the grind didn’t seam very good on the blades, and it made a clicking noise, but it was my first pair and I thought maybe it was okay. I just got to use them this week starting April 13th (made a cut here and there before that but not a lot) as a daily tool, it’s Wednesday and they just died they stopped cutting and the clicking got louder. I used the Allen key that came with it and took it apart to find out that the clicking was because it only had half the bearing left on the part that moves the blades. Maybe a fluke but now I’m outside the return range and I don’t have cutters.
Cuts fast and clean without barbs or distortion of the material. Easy to install. I have cut approximately 166 feet of 28 ga aluminum so far with good performance.
This make sheet metal work so much easier. I’m very happy.

Bought this before putting steel on my house. Works quite well, still a little tricky to get over ridges but a heck of a lot better than a hand shear or one of those corded piles.

It is great on smooth sheet material but will not cut the ridges of roofing steel.
These are excellent. Seem to have indistinguishable performance from a pair of corded shears (depending on the power of your drill). Build quality holds up to the old tools of yore, solid metal housing, and made in the USA is a bonus. Very solidly built and seem like they will last forever.Only note that I'd make, that's not a failing of the tool itself, is that you'll want a drill with a strong ratcheting chuck. If the input shaft of the shears is put in loosely your drill chuck will start to chew it up, so make sure you lock your chuck very tightly.
These take the nightmare of cutting metal roofing. I use these roughly 1-2 times week. WAY better than a grinder or a skill saw with a masonry/metal blade. No flying sparks or sharp edges. They claim to "seal" the cut edges to weather and corrosion. It is clear that the natural cutting motion of the shears fold over the exposed side of the metal. Key is to follow the contours of the metal, i.e.. you really have to drop the back of the drill down to go uphill. I found it was better to use with a drill than an impact. Payed for itself after a couple of weeks.
This is a super product for the price and much easier to use that Malco dedicated shears. Had a bit of a problem keeping the plastic shield that goes over the rotating part of the drill, but nothing is perfect. Kudos.

These are only suitable for cutting straight lines on flat material. Also, it is very cumbersome.
Seems to work great on up to 20 gauge, which I have tried so far... but it being able to cut the seems(as advertised with the product), is a joke... doesn't do anything on seams... unless u r trying to cut 30 gauge sheets......

Used with DeWalt vmax20 drills and impact-driver to cut Delta type metal roofing. Cut nice and clean, takes a little to get use to them.

I attempted to use this tool on a reroof project, but it proved to be more hassle than it was worth. I had difficulty cutting straight lines with one hand and was not in a position where I could use two. Maybe if I could use two hands, I could recommend this tool, but as it stands, this is just too good to be true...
