By far the most comfortable and most effective toolbelt I have ever tried. I had a husky electrician toolbelt that was starting to rip and was just overall uncomfortable, I also had an AWP belt which was okay for a bit but would always bite me sides.. when I decided to invest in this toolbelt, it was the best decision i made by far! i recommend going a size or 2 larger if you decide to get the sheep wool pads which i highly suggest you do! My favorite part about this tool belt is that i have bit holder pouches where i put my 1/4 5/16 3/8 and Philips Extension bit. BUY THIS BELT!

Ok, these are leather, but not well thought out, if you take them off with tools in them and set them down they spill out all over, the small bit pockets dont hold the bits well, these are good leather but after I have used them fort two years, they really are a poor design for the money, no electrician designed this. I am using the Milwaukee light weight bags, they stand up when you set them down and they are cheaper ... they will wear out but they are 1/3 the price and lighter. I wanted to like these but I cant ..

If you're in doubt get the next size up. I'm a 32 waist and this barely fit. I had to get the XL

I have wanted an occidental tool pouch for many years but always put off buying one. I finally found the exact one I wanted and needed here on Amazon but the XL was only 1 of 2 available so I rushed the order and waited with anticipation. The tool pouch itself is everything I hoped for and I don't want to return it because of the low quantity and fear not getting what I want. So The advertised XL belt that was supposed to come with it and the tag on it that read XL was somehow changed with a Large belt. So the fit isn't what I wanted. After calling Amazon customer service they have taken care of the belt situation and I am once again a very pleased customer after all Thanks Amazon!

I wish Occidental would separate the large pouch on the “fat lip” bags they added in the kit. I am going to figure out how to do it.I added the hip and back buddies to my kit and I have to say best bags I’ve owned quality wise, layout is going to take some getting used to as I believe my previous set (I’ve worn and replaced every year for @10years now... Gatorbacks) are the best designed bags pouch wise.If occidental could only come up with something close in the realm of electrical driven bags, they’d be the top of the line in every spectrum.These are going to need some tweaking to get right but for now I love the fit, I love how they’re a great handmade leather bag. I just don’t love the layout compared to my old bags.The seller however was lightning fast with shipping faster then Amazon prime!!! Over all I give this belt a 10/10At first it was very stiff and rough, due to it being newBut working as a commercial electrician, this bag boy broke in Easy and it’s been a gem a since!

I bought my belt in1982 from their first shop, and wore all day, every day, till I quit in 2003, but kept it full of stuff since then, just in case; never had to rebuild my all leather belt/pouches . . . I have had to replace every tool in the bags many times over . . . now the belt n pouches on my rig are as useful as they were then, but I am worn out . . . one set for 40 + years . . . My feet, eyes, balance, back, 1 hand, chewed up, but that darn belt still hangs in the shop, ready to go back to work; only thing I own close to THAT durable is my 97 Toyota pickemup truck . . .

I thought I would like this belt more coming from the cheap Klein belts. The layout for the tools is terrible, I'm still trying to adjust to it, it's like they got a carpenter to design it. I carry about 40 lbs on my belts, about 30 lbs when I'm roughing and I got tired wearing it when I was piping a house, it could use some cushioning. At this price point I expect exceptional quality but we'll see, it already looks like it's stretching and getting scratches everywhere 2 weeks in. I'd hate to return it in that condition so I think I'm just going to keep experimenting and maybe update if I don't toss it away. This would be a good tool belt at $150 but I don't see $300+ even if it is made in the US.

This is an absolutely incredible tool belt. Extremely well built, comfortable, and arrives partially worked in. My only issue is the sizing. I ordered the small because their recommendations is to either size your existing tool belt (didn’t have one) or use your pant size + 4”.I’m a 31, so I added 4” and got 35”, which is 1” more than the midpoint on the small belt. Despite that, when I got it the fit was on the second last hole, not closer to the middle. I would say you should add 5 or 6” to your pant size to get the correct midpoint. I got a medium Ranger belt and put all the panniers on that and the fit is perfect!

Great tool belt but would recommend getting the harness for maximum comfort if not they just keep dragging down

These pouches are the best you can buy. Stop reading reviews and make the purchase, you will not regret it.I’m the type of person that researches everything and reads every review available before making a decision on a purchase.I’ve been in the trades my whole life and have went through sets of pouches every couple of years. I’ve seen occidental bags on job sites many times but couldn’t justify the cost to get myself a set. Was I wrong. I finally said screw it and bought a pair when my last set of bags was at the end of its life. And my only regret is that I didn’t buy them years ago. Tool bag has pockets perfectly sized and placed for everything l, and the fastener pouch has enough space to carry box connectors, couplers, screws, straps, and anything else I need to throw in there. I’m a Chicago electrician, everything we do is in pipe. So I carry a lot of tools, and the bags are heavy even without all the tools. I say that to say get the suspenders too. I can wear these bags with suspenders all day long with no pain or fatigue like I’ve experienced with other bags.

Arrived fast and the belt has been a life saver, went three three belts this year. This belt seems nice and strong. Plenty of pockets didn’t even fill all my spots

If you are 32 waist size, get the medium belt...quality is awesome, but some of the tool layout does not work so well, and the left hardware pouch, has a big bag, wich, easy can be divided, and it will be more practical. The tools side, the bits , wont work on the designed spot, as you bend over, them will crush your ribs, is good, but needs more, to be a 300dollar pouch

True fit, the other guys were right when they said the pouch will be the best investment in the trade. Got a leather conditioner rubbed into it right away in all the pockets and tool sleeves. Softened up and formed. Within it was broke in and fit to me. Leather is of great quality.

Durable and quality but idk anyone who uses that many regular screwdrivers and not have more pockets that are for pliers and other larger things if they could gut the insides and make larger actual tool pockets which I had to bring and do. The bags are kinda heavy too but they will last forever. So In general semi worth it

I don't usually write reviews regardless of how much I spend, but I'm really happy with this tool belt and I've had this set up about a month or two so here's what I've learned so far"Break in" took about a weekDo your research on the suspenders, they've gotta be pinned in place once they are broken in (once their pinned they are much more comfortable)The pouches are a floating system so its going to constantly be moving around and the suspender loops space themselves oddly, i solved this by running jetline through everything on its side and tying them all together, the tape measure holster gets in the way but I got over it in a week or two, I'm not careful at all with the tool belt aside from not letting it get stolen and its survived fine, I'm a lefty and it works perfect for me

Build quality is fantastic and the tool placement is great. Been holding up much better than any other pouch I've used before. My only complaint is no great spot for a tape measure or to put a drill. Despite those 2 minor grievances the pouch is absolutely amazing.

Bought this electricians tool belt at my husband's request after looking at similar much cheaper versions. it's the best-looking tool belt and carries everything that he needs. Great quality real thick leather he highly recommends the hip pads. On the more expensive side but is worth the money especially since there's a 10-year warranty. Stop searching and buy this tool belt it's worth it!

High quality product, will last a while,very accessible to tools while working. But terrible to stow away unless you have dedicated hanger in your vehicle. No flat bottoms so even if you lay it for a moment at the job site the contents will spill..

These bags are awesome. I’ve used the framing bags for the last 14 years and have been very happy doing general work (they need a few holes fixed but the stitching is amazing.) if your looking to step up your productivity as an electrician these bags are for you. They will pay for themselves on the first project. You can’t go wrong unless you can get Akribis Leather bags but you might have to wait your entire life

This was great it was durable and has lasted a while compared to other belts I have used. I have friends who have been using these belts for over 15 years and I have high hopes for this belt.

These bags are beautifully crafted and very high quality. They fit me perfectly and are super comfortable. Occidental leather seems tough to break in though, but since I already use them frequently, they will stretch and conform to my body and tools soon enough.

Most comfortable belt !

Spent a couple years looking around for different bags to replace my CLCs; couldn’t find anything remotely close that I liked. Decided to buck up and spent the extra buck; definitely worth the investment. Extremely high quality, no issues, even made the tape measure pocket a drill pocket by putting a couple holes through it. Will be adding a third pouch. Thank you guys for an awesome product.

Amazing product, can never go wrong with occidental products. I own the residential set as well and got these for commercial after borrowing a co-workers. Definatly would recommend any of the shoulder straps if your planning on filling every tool spot for a 8 hours day of work to help distribute the weight of the bags for less fatigue.

Made extremely well, the features or well thought out and the most comfortable belt out there. I bought this electricians set because it not only covers my electrical tool needs but also can adapt to fine woodworking uses. I do both. I may later order an additional tool pouch just for woodworking (my hobby) since I can change out the pouches using this same belt. I highly recommend it.Btw: I am a 36" waist and the table recommends large. I had to send it back since it only left one hole in the belt. I returned it to Amazon and then ordered the X large which fit perfectly and also leaving me plenty of holes.

I love these Occidental bags there worth the money made strong. I went through two pairs of Klein tool bags in a year and got tired of wasting money.

First of all, I wear 34-36" waist pants. I bought the Large size and buckle up right in the middle of the belt. Perfect for adjusting up or down a hole throughout the day.Secondly, I refer to the tool pouch as a right-hand bag and the material pouch as the left-hand bag. Sorry to the southpaws out there.Anyway, here's my review:These are beautiful, high-quality bags. I hang them on the same pair of Occidental suspenders I've worn since I was a pre-apprentice.In my experience, a full rig like this is a major force-multiplier and major efficiency boost. The ability to carry a full set of necessary tools and a loaded left-hand material pouch saves so much time and energy and keeps my workflow and rhythm at full capacity. That isn't specific to these bags - but their quality and comfort ARE specific to Occidental products. I've used a full set of Klein's nylon pouches (totally shredded in less than 2 years), rough-out top-grain framer's bags, and Dead On and CLC leather "electrician's" tool pouches (both very serviceable, but with thin leather external screwdriver tunnels that tore at the rivets in the first 3 months, and useless hammer loops.)There are a few things on this set of pouches that disappointed me. The right-hand tool-pouch is a strange design that does not offer enough compartments/dividers in the main part of the pouch. My kleins, channellocks, and dikes end up slumping over instead of standing upright. The pouch is also designed for holding screwdrivers in loops around the inner lip of the bag, making the handles protrude higher than I personally prefer. I prefer keeping them jammed in low and not wasting time putting them in those loops.I also would really prefer to have the option to hang my measuring tape from a riveted metal bracket on my right-hand pouch, instead of the carpenter-style left-hand tape pouch above the main large pouch on my left-hand material pouch. Almost every electrician's right-hand tool-pouch has either a pocket or metal tab to carry even chunky 25' FatMax or Milwaukee tapes, but these bags (like my old nylon Klein pouches) don't. I've gotten used to being a left-hand tape holder; I just wish I had the built-in option to go on the right side too.Those two design flaws were very poor decisions on Occidental's part. They should have known their customer's preferences and habits. They should have followed the pattern of the standard electrician's pouch so that their customers could upgrade to these heirloom-quality bags without skipping a beat or going through any re-adjustment period. For that reason only, I have given these bags a 4-star review. Were it not for those workflow speed bumps, these would beg for the ability to give a 6-star review, because they are the Cadillac of pouches!Some cool and unique features of the bags include:One huge plus is the 4-space tip-holder on the tool pouch. I keep impact nut-drivers and a #2 Phillips driver in those slots for easy access. Keeps those tips handy and readily-accessible in awkward positions and low-light work areas, where digging for tips is a frustrating hassle.The left-hand pouch has a number of perfectly-proportioned little compartments for drill-bits, impact sockets, and additional drive-tip holders. Being thick, stitched leather, I feel safe keeping my 1/4" drill bits, 1/4-20 speed tap, etc., in them when doing lots of metal fabrication.The floating rear hammer loop with integrated pliers/snips holder is awesome for rough-in work. I keep my straight snips in there for hack-n-smash steel-stud rough-in.Lastly, the belt itself is just perfect! It is sturdy, stout, and evenly distributes the weight (which for me can exceed 30 pounds when carrying lots of dense material) and pressure across/around my hips and waist. It has not begun to roll up or fold over at the suspension points in the way that most 2" or 2.5" hardware-store belts have done after a month or two... Paired with my Occidental light-weight nylon-strap, leather-loop suspenders, I barely notice I'm carrying an extra 30-35 lbs on my hips for 8 hours a day. No back pain and minimal shoulder fatigue at the end of even the most rigorous days.If Occidental made regular keep-your-pants-up belts, they'd be the only belts I'd buy. If they made boots, I'd buy those, too. They make great-quality bags... I just wish they'd been a little smarter and stuck with one of the two standard "electrician's tool-pouch" layouts. I will probably go to a leather craftsman and have him add the missing features I listed earlier. After that, I will have the best bags in the world, and I'll look forward to handing them down to my grandson/granddaughter.

Quality, period. Wear them every day. Added the suspenders and measuring tape pouch. If you want to invest in a set of bags that can last you the better chunk of your career, these are them. My last set were still in great shape after 6 years of use but were stolen, replaced with the exact same model.

Great belt but it’s just too expensive

Im a 38" pant size and i ordered a Large but it was a little small on me with only 2 holes in so i returned it for the Xl and now it fits where theres 3 or 4 holes left.

I have had this tool pouch for nearly 2 years now and it has held up incredibly well. There are ample slots for all the tools you need in the field, with some give in the leather to customize the setup to what suits you best. Every aspect of this tool pouch has held up well under daily use, exposed to all manner of elements. Highly recommended for any and all electricians who work in construction day - to - day. Some might consider it to be a little bulky for finish and maintenance work, but that hasn't hindered me any!

Wow is all I have to say!!!If your an electrician and you have been looking for the right pouch for years and are sick of the same old Home Depot type pouches, It’s worth it!! 25 years in the trade and ya this is the best. Perfect fit, Does not fall down.. Made in the USA!!

I bought this for my boyfriend but it is too small. I don't see how we can exchange it and doesn't appear to be a way to message the seller/company. Really wish for an expensive item like this, the seller would be easy to contact and return or exchanges would be more seamless.However, my bf raves about the product. Once we have the right size, I will hopefully have a positive update.

Awesome bags! You get what you pay for when it comes to bags. After buying these, I won't buy anything else besides Occidental Leather, that is if I even have to. I've had them about 3 months now and they're barely broke in, and they seem like they will last a long time.Molds to your tools really good. Definately worth the buy!

I like leather is good, but it has less pouch that I expected

Only thing I didn’t like was the fastener bag, could have used a divider in the larger pocket. But that is a preference and in no way brings down how awesome this belt and bag set is.

The tools reflect the work. This is a very good tool. It fit as advertised. I use regular suspenders instead of the Occidental brand. The nylon pockets will wear out faster than leather, but they hold their shape quite well.

These are worth every penny!

They are heavy, be warned of that. I am thinking about picking up a lightweight apron to wear to limit how often i have to throw these bags on due to the weight. You will feel it after 8 hours. But, they are incredibly well built and will be good for several years. Every tool has its perfect spot which is really nice. The leather will form to your tools and hold them perfectly snug. I would recommend a suspender system to help transfer the weight. I went with the Stronghold Lights to cut weight and they are also very nice and plenty durable for suspenders.

Best tool belt Ive owned. Super comfortable and lots of storage right where I need it. Only complaint is there is no tape measure holder.

These bags are amazing hold my tools very well. My tools don't fall out like my nylon bags use to allow them to. Have ample storage space with plenty of configuration options to suit your needs as well as easy to get use to for quick tool selection in small spaces where you can't peak at your bags to see what's where. If you have the money and plan on using these for work they are worth it. I have co-workers who have had these bags for 5 plus years and they still look and feel pretty new. Ps buy leather conditioner it will make them last long and a small bath before you use them will help break them in a little.

I've been wearing Klein belts and bags for 20 years. Many sets because they wear out. I can tell that thes bags will blow the Klein stuff away! Very comfortable. Hardly notice that I'm wearing them.

The belt size is small. Also the tool pouch only holds a few tools. The picture is misleading. Not really worth the price.

Lets face it there expensive compared to home improvement stores. But those wont last like this tool belt. There worth every penny and will last you forever. Couldnt be happier with them after a year.
