Great refurbished nail gun.

Never received from Amazon and off to Lowes I went

Great tool; this one replaced my 15 year old gun. This one is lighter and easier to use. I recommend Shentec 2 Pack 7.4V 2.5Ah Battery, for spares. Trim molding installation is easy with this. I MUST REMIND ALL THAT THIS IS NOT A TOY; TREAT IF LIKE A GUN! Keep away from children.
yago
The finishe nails never stack this is best one.
Mark
Lightweight, long battery life easy to load and use. Very pleased with this product
Stacy L. Letson
I will give a full review in a couple of months. After using on job site. For now purchase was easy, received quickly , and a great price. So far only thing not great was, fuel is cheaper in store.
Karen E. Siegmund
This nailer has already broken. My husband used it to build cabinets.
gary davis
Drives nails and you don't have a battery or an air hose
Nathan
It's more convenient than an air nailer but less reliable bring two so when one fails you have another so you don't have to clean on the jobsite
Amazon Customer
Been doin this for a while it's nice not to set up the compressor and hoses
dennis mitchell
Wish I'd bought one sooner, long battery life, easy to use, and can take it anywhere. I own several nail guns and this is by far the best.
Ed ayers
After 1 box of nails it quit working
George
I use it for trim work.

I had one of these many years ago. When it worked, it worked well. It cut your framing time down a lot.But cleaning was very important or it wouldn't work hardly at all. Also you often have to finish pounding the nails in with a hammer. It was usually a tap on 2.Also, you have to be careful which nails you buy. Many framing nails won't work in this gun. I found out the hard way when I purchased a box frm Home Depot. It was a joy to use this gun when everything worked right. But it was a pain to use when it wasn't working correctly.Additional:Battery was rarely a problem. But I did have an extra battery. It is gas operated so you need plenty of the Paslode gas.The price of this gun has come down a lot since I had mine. I paid around $600 for it back in the early 2000s.
Edison
This is exactly what I wanted and need to replace my previous one. Packaged great and arrived as expected.
John Dods
This gun is a pleasure to use. Although you may save money getting the type of nail gun that is used with an air compressor, the ease of this tool, which requires no compressor, is wonderful. Works very well.
ralph r kangas
This is 1st gas charged finish nailer and I just think its Great. No hoses dragging ya down. Sets nails fine. Great gun!!
Lindlou235
Excellent device and very easy to set up! Five Stars ***** Very durable piece of equipment. Well worth the money!

Wrong nailer was sent, contacted dealer, great customer service. Very Pleased! I'd buy from them again.

This is the most unreliable tool i own. Consistently miss fires. Very frustrating. Will never buy another
Jordan & Sydney
Got my brand new paslode and it has never worked right. I have to manually pull the set back in order to engage the next nail. Supposedly theres a year warranty but they dont make it easily accessible.
Steve A. Edge
I like the size and weight. Depth adjustment is great!
joseph l.
From a contractor, this nail gun is very lightweight and dependable. I use it every day and it keeps up well.
Courtney Blaylock
Terrible and unreliable. When it does shoot a nail it shoots them at whatever angle pleases it.
Sabyl smith
Advertised that it came with a battery and it did not. Would have been 5 stars if the description was not misleading. Tool was in pristine condition!
John L
This thing is Incredible! I already have the dewalt 18 gauge finish nailer which also works well. This one is on another level. Larger nail and it will drive it through anything. Its a little more complicated worrying about a gas cartridge AND a battery but they both last forever and the pro's far outweigh the cons. Just get one you wont be sorry.
Teresa Siefert
Best buy ever. I love using this thing. ONLY issue is that it jams at the end of the nail strip. Not sure why
CURIOUS GEORGE
This is a great product.I also own the cordless framing nailer. It is also a great tool.
paulhavstad
Not like the older version. lightweight but feels cheaply made, smaller and light. Not the same quality it seems. If you had a older model you will notice the difference. Still a good gun
David Edinger
Professional finish Carpenter. Have used one of these guns for years ever since they've come out. Recently I started having problems with mine and had to take it to get it repaired. 4 months finally told him to cram it up there but went and got the gun back. So frustrated just throw it in the trash and went and bought a new one. Well lo and behold guess what same problem as the old one. Call the warranty people. Had to put tape on the bottom of the gas canister to make it work. So apparently the specifications on the gas canisters are messed up and many of these guns are not working because of it. I refuse to send it in for warranty work because they don't have an answer either. Going to try to send it back to Amazon and I'm going to try DeWalt. Do not do not do not buy this gun. Frustrated and extremely disappointed. Can you purchase this tool you will be also

Awesome. Less expensive than Lowes price.

Good stuff
Amy Mitten-Stevens
No more compressor noise!
Lewis Day
The Paslode has performed as expected. I am amazed at the battery life and the shots that can be achieved without recharging.
Robert Hansen
I keep this in my truck. Very Handy for many jobs
Vache
Its a great idea but after 2 years it starts to jam and damn, that’s annoying.I would have given 5 star but this jamming dowsnt stop.Too much maintenance
Orlando
When it works it works flawlessly. Both my 16 and 18 gauge paslode have a mind of their own. They work when they feel like it and I took my 18 gauge in to get it “fixed” I got it back and the note said “shot 2000 shots” as soon as I started using it i got like 10 misfires. WTF paslode!!!!! This 16 gauge gun does the same : /
Arob5891
Super lite and powerful. Goes on forever without having to change battery or fuel
Billy L
Great gun when it works. After 6-12 months you will need to replace the spark plug assembly (part# 900714) It costs less than $4 and very easy to replace. I suggest you buy a few of them and keep them in the box. This is the major problem people are having
tom villella
So far everything is good. It works just what I expected it to do. Thanks
Alfredo Hernandez
I received defected nail gun
C. Peabody
Quality tool and has been working flawlessly for several years now.Everyone that borrows it wants to keep it.The only negative would be that this model is not available in Canada, nor are the nails or fuel cells... so Canucks, keep in mind you will have to buy supplies in the States.Small price to pay for an excellent product!
Spike
Spent years with my first one and it was used. Love this new one just as much.

Wish I could have repaired my old gun, this gun jams all the time.
C. M. Torgeson
Used for a number of small projects. Very powerful, light, worked great, even on hardwood.Good battery life. Slight stink from the gas discharge as you use it.Jammed pretty regularly but easy to fix with a screwdriver pushing the nailing spike back into the chamber and clearing the jammed nail(s).Went through maybe 500-1000 nails and one gas canister total in the course of a year. Then it just died. After trying everything (recharge battery, different nails, new canister), I finally took it apart. Then it worked for about 30 more nails. Then it stopped working again. Then I threw it into the trash.

Do not buy this gun! In April 2018 , I purchased this finisher off Amazon Prime. The nailer sat in the case for a couple of months until I started a remodel project. Shortly after I started the remodel, the nails jammed intermittently and it quit firing. Luckily this occurred within the allowed replacement time period and the company let me return it for a replacement. The replacement nailer worked for a short time but the nails started intermittently jamming and it quit firing. I made a claim, sent the thing in for repair and just got it back on Friday with a notation that “fuel door assembly was bent and nail jams on recovery”. I fired it for the first time today and after firing a few nails it jammed so tightly, I can’t fix the jam. This is not the first Paslode finish nailer I have owned - I am aware that the nailer needs to be cleaned and maintained to keep it working properly but seriously? This is a new gun! I am ready to eat my losses, go to Home Depot and buy a different model. This is an expensive gun. Not sure yet how to go about it but I want my money back.

I love the Paslode framing cordless nailer and like this one okay. My only gripe is the tendency for the finish nails to jam--sometimes several in a single clip. That gets a little maddening. Other times it will go all day without a jam.
Sonya Clemons
Husband loves it
Handyman
Love no hose.Noise is loud in a space of tile floors and bare walls. Use hearing protection,Jam rate is acceptable. Very fast and easy to unjam.Make just electric nail guns look like junk.Yes, you need to buy fuel cans. But that is where all the bank comes from. I is just like a cylinder in your car engine. gas and spark plug.
Mike
The packaging came missing one of the plastic latches. Would be great if I could get one, as the case is open on one side. I still have the first model that paslode made.
Wes
I wish I woiuld have had this nail gun 20 years ago. Fantastic product
pixsteve
Light weight a must have.
gunther
I first looked into a fully battery powered 16G nailer. I finally bit the bullet and got the paslode. This thing is such a joy to work with and I underestimated the importance of weigh. The nose gets well into corners and there is a bit of a gas smell when working indoors but it does not bother me. Forget the lithium powered heavy models.
Amazon Customer
Neighbor is using it, he said works great but it jams frequently
John E. Hoy
Returned defective nailer. Ordered a replacement and received it today. It works first time out of the box. Would have given it 5 stars if I had not gone through all the hassle returning the first one. Light but balanced in the hand, drives 1 1/4 inch 16 gauge finish nails flush with the surface.of the trim without adjustment.Old: Did not fire most of the time. I loved the concept of a light weight powerful cordless finish nailer. If it had functioned properly I think I would have given it 4 to 5 stars. When product arrived i loaded the separately purchased fuel cell and nails per the user manual. The nailer would not fire. I purchased a replacement fuel cell and was able to test fire 2 nails. Later that week I tried using the nailer to attach trim and the first attempts the nailer would not fire. The only way I could get it to fire was to open the fuel cell compartment and push and hold the fuel cartridge adaptor for a few seconds. Would have to repeat the process every time I wanted to fire a nail. It was easier to use a hammer.

Hoping to change this review but for now I have to give honest feedback. I have shot less then a 1/3 of a box of nails from my original order and am now recieving an error code in regards to the fan motor. Huge Paslode fan and always supourt their products but this being the first I bought offline and first Trim Ion, I am really disappointed.
Randall C.
Met all expectations. It seems good quality, and sets nails as good as any pneumatic. It will be interesting to see how maintenance and cost of supplies compares over time.

It's good, after half a year using time, still works great!

Used this nail gun to trim a few doors out in a house my son bought. We both enjoyed using this nail gun as it made the work much easier to do quickly.
Shmeg McGee
Just stopped working after about 300 nails. Put a new gas can and battery in it. It just makes the exhaust sound but doesn't fire. Looking online, this seems to be quite a common defect.
Miss Kitty
I've had great luck with Paslode products in the past, and I hate to give a bad review, but this nailer jammed no less than 6 times during about one hour of use. I was nailing new trim through new drywall into new studs--nothing special. I returned it, and my trim job is not done.

Love,love,love this tool
Gary E. Lee
Arrived as scheduled, in perfect condition, battery charged, ready to get to work. Great tool, great service, great price

Good little nailer. Works well.
Jennifer R Ribbink
We purchased this 4/25/14. It's not worked properly for the past year. I do not recommend this item.
JP MEDINA
This is one of the best investments I've made. It is never fun to think on a 400dll tool that doesn't make/build anything.... but the huge advantage this gives you is TIME!. I can now spend much more time measuring, cutting, finishing etc without worrying about how much time it will take me to hang/nail trim or assemble things. And practicality since you are not carrying a compressor, hoses and stuff.
Amazon Customer
Shoots like a champ.
Wanda B
This is a great tool for finishing framing, I love no cord option and the light weight of the nailer.
PeKing
Love it! Light weight and works as expected

great price and works perfect

Beats a standard nail gun hands down
Suttles4
You will never pack and carry hoses and compressors around again to do finish work once you use one of these. Can't wait to buy an 18g one too. Maybe a 23g pinner will be in product line soon too. Great product.
Brian L. Alder
Never will you see a professional use something else!
picksix
I'm a professional home improvement contractor and have been using this nailer for trim, crown molding, hard wood and casing for over three years now. It's been a huge time saver and I just love it. Had some minor issues early on but it was more about me learning how to use it than the gun. So to date I would highly recommend it. I will say though that on 3/4" or thicker hard wood you must have the tip set to full depth and be sure to press the gun firmly against the wood. But even with misfire every now and then (and let's face it, even the best guns misfire on occasion) it beats the heck out of hoses and compressors.
Amazon Customer
got it out of case, shot a nail and the gun jammed and did so six times out of ten tries
CAK
AWESOME tool... always works , light], efficient .....PURRFECT for any outdoor, away from electric or generator nailing jobs
Henry Belvamrood
Installed 24 windows, used the Paslode to install 72 pieces of interior trim. It worked perfectly, I had an older Paslode I like the new upgrades.HB WINDOWS.
Beeg76
Keeps jamming after only 7-8 nails being fired through it. Had only used three times. Returning it!
Mike Melvin
I simply love this tool. It's extemely light, shoots as fast as you can depress it, loads easy, and I have yet to have it misfire or jamb. Also, it goes without saying that it's great not dragging an air hose around behind it.

i paid $330 brand new tool not working sitting in garage …...

Easy to set up and use..Did a great job and various wood types.

Paslode equals s*** - save your money. I have two different paslodes and both are crap. Both have less than a 100 nails through them. I get so tired of every time i think ill use them, they fail to work as advertised. It takes t0-15 trigger pulls before they shot one nail. It is so irritating, i have no clue how paslode even has a name attributed to quality.
