The nose of the gun keeps getting hung up which in turn will fire a nail if your not paying attention

It's just heavy for me. Otherwise, it works good & does the job. A good buy & I'm satisfied.

These guns are a pro stick nailer (now some folks will say only coil framing nailers are pro nailers) that work well. This version has a good kickstand style rafter hook and a ruler on its metal slide. You used to be able to find these guys at the big boxes back in the day when they sold more pro-grade tools. What happened was when all the tool companies started merging and being acquired by large conglomerates everybody stated puking out nailers, from milwaukee to makita now have nailers and with everything being sold on price, even Palsode had to offer a cheaper version to compete. This is the real deal version and has the features that save time. It runs from 2" to 3.5" nails, easily toe-nails, and with the ruler on the slide, makes gaging nail sets a snap. You can, in some situations use the slide ruler to set stud distances on framed walls... no its not a good as a tape, but it works. These are well balanced and hard hitting guns and work without issue. The only thing that I can say is they are paper collated nailers, and this means on production work, where you are working on sites, you do have to me more conscious of the fact you just cannot let the nails get wet like you can with a Bostitch wire-collated stich nailer or the coil framing nailers. You find out pretty fast in large framing jobs the money is in the nails, not the nailers. Somebody leaves a couple boxes out to get soaked for a few days, then you might be looking at total loss of ammo. However, you just are not going to get wire colated nails as the big boxes, so that being said, this is a great gun to own. It is kind of a finisher in that you run out of nails on the wire guns, you can readily find Paslode nails! It is not a trip to a dedicated supplier like it can be for wire collated coil and stick nailersAt the end of the day, this really is the perfect nailer.

Worked great for decking

This gun does really well for framing but the smaller sheathing nails does not always load well.
Susan Meusel
Perfect for student use and training
Curt Fowler
This is a fine piece of equipment! I'm a self employed contractor and I love this thing!!! Use it frequently and it hasn't let me down yet! Paslode is in pneumatic guns
adam
I bought several guns, but this one is the first one that came with the hose attachment.

This 30 degree nailer has worked well connected to a pancake compressor. I've been using 2.5 inch nails into 2x6 walls. Great design and fits a gloved hand.
Jim A Framer.
I have had this nailer for 10 years. I have rebuilt it once in that time. Great nailer, wouldn't trade it for any other brand. I have owned Bostitch, Hitachi, and Porter Cable, paslode beats them all!

Good price. Easy transaction.

I am a framing contractor and I have 5 of these nailers.3 of them bought within the last year.2 of them 5+ years old.I will start by saying the 2 older ones, I can't kill.I have dropped them off 2nd storey roofs, used them all winter(Canadian winter so as cold as -35 Celsius). We use them in rain, sleet, snow and whatever else comes our way.My crew uses them as hammers, and they throw them around, even used them as jack stands(ok I exaggerate)They can't be killed. So I decided to buy 3 more of these for when my crew expanded recently.THESE ARENT THE SAME GUNS!!They don't work below -10 Celsius. The safety mechanism sticks on all 3 (one of my employees shot himself in the chest due to failure of the safety and trigger)The rafter hook has broken on 2 of them. The magazine slider doesn't always lock open when loading, which makes for an awkward reload.Doesn't drive nails into LVLs like the old ones. Not recommended
Chuck
best nailer out there
Sheree
this is a great nailer. The nailer arrived so carelessly packaged
Chief
Really good performance
Brenda Downie
It was to heavy
Patricia A. Johnson
I had the bump trigger added. Works GREAT.
Joe Zurfluh
Best gun on the market PERIOD
J. Short
These are great nail guns the reason I gave it 3 stars is because the product description DOES NOT say any thing about it being a refurbished gun. I new it was an older model but I thought it was due to a product change or new design from the manufacturing
DAVID J POSTON
The Paslode framing nailer is great. Head &shoulders better than my old duofast gun. This is not the new model in Home Depot with the plastic slide. It's the older model with the metal slide, much better.
Holly Cox
Tons of power. Gets the job done even when used on hardwood.

Doesn't work well

Best nail gun ever!
Dejan
My 2nd, learned on my big brother Scott 's so it's really my 3rd, Passlode three fifty, they really ar the best, all others are copies
Dale Burnham
Nails it every time. Great tool for framing.
Chaske Johnson
Awesome nailer. 15000 nails in and not one malfunction. Very sturdy compared to most Nailers. Only gripe is the exhaust on back of nailer isn't adjustable, which is a big issue when nailing walls together on the deck or even worse a dusty basement floor

I had bought the Paslode F-350S Power Master Plus to replace my older Paslode F-350 framing nailer and have always loved the Paslode nailers always dependable product just load and go, I have never been let down by the Paslode brand of nailers. Working in the construction industry Paslode is a very well known name for professionals. If your buying a nailer buy one that lasts.
John
I am a contractor, so good tools are a must have for me. I don't have time for cheap or poorly made tools. After reading a lot of reviews and talking to a lot of other contractors. I decided to go with the Paslode as they had the best reviews hands down over every other company I was considering. After a year of owning this one I would definitely support that myself. I love the balance of it, Lots of driving power, easy to load, it has never jammed on me, It is a little heavy, but I like that in a tool. The heavy ones tend to last longer in my experience.
Daniel C. Lange
Made building my deck easier. Well balanced fires each time does not jam.
Keri D.
Doesn't come with the air fitting. But works great once you get one.
W. B. Mckibben
Trigger options are great
Christoph Hollenstein
Received this item back in March. We didn't use it until the middle of June (we still had an old nailer that works) and found out that it's defective. When I tried to return or repair it I was told that the item is no longer eligible for return and that repair is not available. It looks like a gasket is missing so there is not enough pressure to drive the nail in.

We purchased this because we are building another large garage. My husband really likes it. He's used a few of these, and consequently so have I. This one drives the nails well into the studs. It's balanced well- some tend to lean forward or back, requiring extra effort to keep it upright. That may seem like a small thing, but it really makes a difference over the course of a day. I've held one or two that were a pound or so lighter but weren't balanced as well and they felt awkward to hold. It shoots smoothly. No jam ups or misfires nails. The hook is REALLY handy. That one little piece makes the difference between being able to stay on the ladder while you hook the gun onto something or climbing up and down all day because there's nowhere to set the gun down when you need to. We like it, are glad we bought it and would buy it again.

Great for all day use..light and doesn't jam!

So all the nail gun manufacturers have decided to cheap out and not include Hose fittings - ok I get it... So you'll make thousands of customers run to a hardware store to buy the REQUIRED part - ok I get it..BUT WHY have you idiots have standardized on a fitting size LARGER than the rest of the world?! Thanks for the needless obstacle to get my nailer working in order to save .20 cents manufacturing...

Works Perfect I'm using 3" nails and the gun works perfect after I adjusted the air presure

Great nailer! Thankyou!

2 love its for this one. My Husband is ecstatic.
Dan Palmer
By far the best framing nailer out there. This is my second gun, first one lasted 15 years and only reason it stopped working is I dropped it and poked a hole thru the chassis on it. Real Workhorse!
Mike
It's a beast. It can take a beating and works like a charm. Hardly ever misfires. Highly recommended.
Captbob
This was a used item I bought on Amazon. While used, it operates flawlessly. I framed a play fort for my son and re-nailed my floating dock deck boards with it. I was pleased to save over a $100 compared to a new one.

As described

Yes it is used but it looks like it fell off the roof. Cracked exhaust area, will need to replace whole back end.
Ron Bennett
I have used Paslode guns at work for years. Buying this one for myself, I wasn't disappointed!! I love it.
Nate Wyman
This gun is great. I have used it framing an entire house so far. It never misfires, or jams. The ergonomics of this gun are perfect. I have three nailers, this one the old hitatchi gun, and the Makita 21 degree AN923. I like them all, but this is the one I prefer.... The makita is nice because you can adjust the depth without a taking out the Allen wrench, and you can change to rapid fire mode by flicking a switch instead of changing out the trigger... But I still prefer the paslode... It's feel, weight, size, and consistent firing make it my favorite... this gun does not disappoint
jg2jump
I bought this for framing an office in my barn. It took an adjustment to make the nail head go all the way in the wood but it works great now. If the air pressure goes below 100 psi it won't embed the nail all the way but that is an issue with the compressor more so than the gun. Also, it is nearly impossible to find 3.25+ inch full head nails so don't even bother. Although this is what most building codes call for (actually 3.5 inch), no professional framers seem to use it and just ignore the code. Instead, every one seems to use 3 or 3.25 inch D-heads and this is what you will find in most stores. That nail shoots great from this gun and I have had zero jams so far. Just put about 6-8 drops of nailgun oil into the air hose intake, 2-3 drops in the nose of the gun (where the nail shoots out) and oil along the nails every time you reload your nails and it should work fine. Lastly, it does not come with the air hose intake quicksnap valve. You will need an adapter to put on a standard 3/8 inch valve (I got mine at Home Depot), seal it with teflon tape, and off you go.

MY HUSBAND RELIES ALOT ON HIS TOOLS AND HE IS VERY HAPPY WITH PASLODE.
J K
Great nailer. Has already saved wear and tear on my arm and worked flawlessly so far! Should have bought one 30 years ago!
Pete
Very nice but doesn't last long. I bought it for house use but have about a yearthe unit fell apart and I didn't think it was worth the time or money to repair.Went to H. D. and purchased their Ridged brand instead and what a difference!
Jeffrey P
I live this nailer the depth of adjustment is easy to set. The nailer is perfectlybalanced. The only other nailer I have used is a PC and this blows it out of the water
PaulyWolly
Rock Solid performance. I framed an entire basement (1700 square feet roughly) using around 3500 nails. Not a single jam. not one, nada. perfect.
Steve R.
Excellent framing gun. I have used these on job sites for years and am very pleased to now own one for myself.
Timothy S Powell
Love this gun! I have used this nailer on my job sites for the last few years and it works great for all that has been thrown at it. I love that it has a high quality and well thought out design. MADE IN THE USA at is best. Will recommend it to anyone wanting a good framer.
Cynthia F.
I have not used it as of this review.. I am very happy with what I have received.. I can't wait to use it.
Hipmama
I have used porter cable, ridgid, and hitachi framing nail guns. This is my favotite of the bunch. I still really like my Hitachi but the new Paslode is lighter and other than my guys trying to put 21° nails into it a few times, it hasn't jambed once in 5000 plusnails. Paslode is becoming my go to quick. Their positive placement gun is a must if you any Simpson connectors.
Dennis R.
did its job. used this same gun framing for 10+ years with no problem
Martin Meaders
I bought this for my next door neighbor. He built me a fence and tried not to charge me for his labor. During his build his old nail gun kept jamming and he told me it was old. I bought him this gun because it was the best. He told me yesterday that it worked great. The gun came in time as promised.
contractor
very happy with this purchase purchase does what it says it does. Tip-keep warm before use in cold cilmate. Use winter oil in winter or gun will misfire.
devon h
light weight and balance powerful too

BEST THAT THEY MAKE IMO.
sylvain labrecque
very happy ,thank you
robert
Terrific delivery service and speed. this is a better a better tool than I had expected at a very competitive price, this nailer surprised me as it shoots both round head and clipped nails. Really does shoot 31/4 nails into LVL beams.
ReviewItGuy
It's great but noticed something annoying when using it. I had about 5 nails remaining and it wouldn't fire them until I put more nails in. Sometimes it's easy to fire two nails if you don't hold it down enough. Overall a great nailer!
Joekidd1970
Nice Gun ! No problems to report !!
RL Cooper
Simple and effective...great tool
Shawn
Had to take apart and clean out the sand, regressed and oil. Took a while to figure out the sweet spot on the air pressure but now is working fine!
matt
I run a construction crew. I have to say this is a great gun for the money. I will buy again
Jeremy
Fantastic peice of machinery at competitive price.thanks again, would reccommend to others in the market for reputable air tools
JoeMon
Gun works great, but what they do not tell you in the product information is that the male air hose adaptor is not included, thus causing another trip to the store and spend more$
jeffry sanford
This is to be used on a shed and a deck I will be building in the next six months

I had trouble figuring out the gun based on the instructions. I called Paslode and they said the manual is a generic manual for all their guns and things I was trying to do do not apply to my model. They couldn’t even make a specific manual dedicated to my model. Then the gun stopped working on day 1. Called Paslode again and they told me to return the gun to where I bought it. I asked them, “Don’t you want to attempt to diagnose it with some questions before you’re stuck with a return?” They only asked me what pressure I was running it at and that wasn’t an issue so they reiterated “Return the gun”. Before doing that I stared at the gun and noticed that the slide that pushes on the nails seems to be at its limit. I still had 5 nails in the gun. I backed it up with another strip of nails and the gun worked fine. I called them back and they said all their guns need at least 8 nails to work. I said, “You couldn’t say that when I called before or even put it in a manual?”. As I said, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Once I figured out things (without the help of Paslode or a manual, it works fine)

i also have the gas operated nailer so i can use the same size nails for both guns. great guns
flyguy
Its a Paslode! Best nailer I have ever used and I am hard on my tools. I would definitely recommend this product if you are a DIYer or Pro. Read the reviews on blogs.. can't go wrong!
Tony DePaul
The nailer arrived so carelessly packaged I'm sending it back. A very flimsy box, the tool tossed in the bottom of the box with no packing under it, a heavy box of 2,500 nails tossed in on top. The nailer cut into the bottom of the box during transit. It's probably fine, I'm sure it's rugged enough, but I don't want to use it and find out later there's a hairline crack somewhere, or something's bent. I'll buy one from the local big box store today, same price.P.S. I did pick one up at Lowe's. I've only run about 500 nails through it so far but it's a great tool, does everything as advertised. I'm using the GripRite aftermarket nails, too, not as pricey as Paslode nails. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this nailer from Amazon; I just happened to run into a shipper who didn't care about doing a decent job that day.
G. Smith
so far, very good. installed over 100 ft of privacy fencing using over 1000 nails and experienced no problems at all. The gun shoots smoothly and quite effectively on the target wood. Gun not too heavy and no wrist damage.
Atlas 1943
The air inlet was protected with an orange plastic cap. No where in the instruction book listed the type of connector you would need to hook to an air line. Had a helpful Home Depot clerk take one apart at the store as he didn't know either and he sold the exact same gun with the same orange cover piece. Lowe's didn't have a clue on how to make the nail gun usable and they sold the exact same model. An e-mail to Paslode was answered which helped some.
S. Gaffin
Jams are easy to fix, has a lot of power, and it's easy to adjust. Overall great tool to use.

I have used this saw for a month.Works grate has met all my job needs. Hope to enjoy years and years of service.
Benjamin Suydam
I've used Dewalt, Bostitch, Hitatchi, Porter Cable and Paslode framing guns. I would say that Paslode trumps all the others with regards to framing Nailers. Rarely if ever does this gun jam up. For a Finish Nailer I recommend the Hitatchi 15 gauge finish nailer and for the 18 gauge, I recommend the factory reconditioned 18 gauge Bostitch finish nailer.
Chris
In summary, this is a great nailer. If you are considering a "lesser" brand, consider my experience first. I purchased a "store brand" nailer and drove about 2000 nails before the tool broke. I grudgingly purchased this nailer - i didn't want to spend this kind of money on a second nail gun but I am happy I did.- The nailer drove the nails better and with less effort than my previous gun. I was surprised that there could be a difference - a nailer is a nailer, right?- The magazine makes loading strips a breeze - it has a locking mechanism that keeps the opening open for you until you release it- It feels lighter/more comfortable in my hand than my first one- the orange trigger mechanism pictured is perfect. It won't break off like a "pull the trigger type" can- I believe you will need to buy a male 3/8" NPT fitting, mine didn't come with one..
