Used it all day and my arm never got fatigued. Compared to a Paslode powermaster, it is lighter, clips on your tool belt easier and when you’re up in the trusses it is much more comfortable to use.
My favorite framing nailers compact getting small spaces yes it doesn't have a long clip but you keep a few in your back pocket. Otherwise it's a great gun some people have problems and Nails not going all the way but if you set your depth and air pressure right it works like it's supposed to.
Bought this nailer, because mine went bad. Same brand. So much easier to use since it’s smaller. I need to add nails more often, but that’s no problem since the nailer is so easy to use
I needed a smaller nailer to fit in more cramped areas. Also for it to be lighter weight. Being what I had to do was reaching out. This nailer was perfect for the job.
Will not counter sink nails where it matters … if you’re trying to nail down a rafter or a stud to a bottom plate all of your nail head will be sticking out and there for your nails will not fasten the two boards together properly.
The compact design of this nailer makes it perfect for those tight framing spaces that normally require hand nailing or other means. Well made, solid construction and up to the Paslode name. Hopefully my last framing nailer for a long time.
very nice toolnot to heavy, easy to add nails but had to return as tool was damaged during shippingthe package should have more stuffing to stop the package from moving while its being in transit.overall its a good tool
This gun uses 30 degree, PAPER collated nails, not plastic, not wire. It is a remodeling gun. It sacrifices nail capacity so as to be lightweight and fit in small spaces.
Out of the box i loved it, fires 2 nails and the 3rd nail, one of the cap screws that hold the orange cap on, broke the head off!! Cheap crap cap screws. went and got new quality cap screws (replaced all 4) and have since shot over 500 nails. no jams, no mis-fires, works perfect. My only gripe is NO CASE IS PROVIDED....i know, none of them come with a case, but still, its not that big of a gun to NOT provide a case, my 15ga Senco finish nail gun is seriously the same size, and it comes with a case. Oh well. This is the case I chose. Goplus Weatherproof/Shockproof Hard Camera Case.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081RY5HV3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Great compact yet powerful framing gun. It beats any other product out there when it comes to Quality. I would buy it again, take that back I’m buying a second one just to have it as a back up in case they discontinue.Sidenote, has a small slow leak on the exhaust portal. Wondering if it will go away with more use?
They must have listened to everyone. Mine came with the adapter. I’m not a professional but this tool is really nice and works flawlessly easy to adjust the depth. I ran cheap and high dollar nails and both seem to work good
Love the size/weight balance. First test I shot through a bone dry pressure treat 2x6, into a totally dried Pressure treat fir 4x4 post. Perfect flush set, minimal recoil, and quiet in a way that outside I wouldn't need hearing protection, but I need to research the nails a little more? Are the building code color coded nails available or not ? I wanted this gun because it shoots a smaller nail, like for sheathing and spot framing. I see the clips are tight packed and not spaced apart like the other guns, which is good in a lot of ways as you get more nails per inch in the clips. No case or storage bag came with the gun, but it has a dust cap on the air feed at least . I like it ! Plus the smaller firing chamber uses less air, less electric to run the compressor, perhaps carbon footprint friendly just a bit ?
Paslode service did call back as I was driving to Menards to return it. So I am going to keep it for now to see if it works as expected. I am still waiting for instruction as to how to remove the o-ring to switch the mode to bump. I am still not happy with calling a help line and receiving directions to leave a message and they will call back. I have used the gun for a couple of hours now and have no complaints. I will update to a higher rating when / if I get instruction on o-ring removal and longer use of the gun. I am hoping to increase the rating.I Purchased this model F325R from Menards 7/30/19. I purchased the air connector and installed it right away. Going through the instructions I could not find anything about changing the trigger from sequenceal to bump mode other then remove the o-ring and switch trigger. How do you remove the small o-ring with out breaking it? I was ready to live with that, but when I tried to register the gun for the warrantee I kept getting the message that the serial number is incorrect. I entered the serial number numerous times to no avail. I contacted Paslode customer service via phone only to get a voice message to leave a message and they would get back with me. This was done 7/30/19 and still no reply. I tried to find an e-mail address for them and could not find any. I have lost 3 days on my project because of the poor service. I purchased the Paslode framing nailer because I had always heard of the good product. It may be but if I cannot trust the service, I can not trust the product. I cannot register the gun and cannot find anything showing how to replace the meniture o-ring on the trigger. I have a Hatichi finisher nailer and have been very happy with it. I will be looking for a Hatichi Framing nailer to replace this Paslode model F325R.
It is very light, weight, lot less fatigue on the arms.Very compact, fits into tight spaces.Does not jam or misfire.Used it to do the studding in my pole barn
I have had the larger paslode in the past and thought highly of it but this one seems to miss fire a lot and often does not set the nail in all the way. The size is nice but it isn't built as good as the full size version.
