Simpson Strong-Tie's purlin anchors provide solutions for wood-to-concrete and concrete-block connections, meeting code requirements. The PA's dual-embedment line enables installation in concrete or concrete block. During installation, use all specified fasteners; some models may have extra holes. The purlin anchor must hook around rebar. Allowable loads are for horizontal installation into the side of a concrete or masonry wall. The strap can be bent one full cycle. For PA51/PA68, an MST strap can be attached for additional length using 1/2" bolts through existing holes.
