I'm sure I got a one-off bad Proto gauge, but my .25mm feeler (and maybe others) were way off, size-wise. I spent a good couple of hours adjusting the valves on my S2000, wondering why I had to keep on going back and forth between the different sized feelers. Something felt like it had to be off.Eventually I decided that my problems *had* to do with my Proto feeler gauge. I ended up going to my local auto parts store and buying a no name feeler gauge ("OEM") to try that instead.That $5 cheap-o feeler gauge worked great. I had no problems after that, and I was able to get the job done in no time (at least relative to the amount of time I spent messing around with my Proto gauge).Anyway, it's *really* hard for me to recommend these at all. Feeler gauges are supposed to be for checking tight tolerances on stuff like engines. If those tolerances are wrong, very bad and very expensive things can happen. And Proto has shown to me that they are not tools I can trust. (Which is kind of surprising for a brand that's been around for as long as it has. Maybe I got a counterfeit?)

Stanley Proto J000M 11 Blade Bent Feeler Gauge Set

I used this item to do a valve adjustment on a Honda Fit 2008.This item was perfect for just that. The sizing is limited but should be more than enough if you aren't worried about .02mm offsets.I would definitely recommend for anyone doing car valve adjustments over straight flat feeler gauges anytime. The reason being I did shims on 3 motorcycles with flat blades, and they were a HUGE Pain.

Stanley Proto J000M 11 Blade Bent Feeler Gauge Set

Works great. I was able to do the valve adjustment on my 2007 CRV with this set. Keep an eye on that nut that holds all the gauges though, while doing my valve adjustment, the nut came loose and everything fell apart on top of my engine's head. Luckily I was able to fish everything out.
